Coping Strategies are essential for whatever your age is. They help us in times of stress or for preventative positive reinforcement. They help take the edge off and make you feel better and lessen your anxiety and anger. Stress relaxer, peace of mind and serenity for the mind.

Objectives

  1. Commit a top ten to memory

  2. Write your own 10 coping skills

  3. Practice these skills before bed, and when you get up

Materials Needed

Steps to check for student understanding

  1. Read all pdf’s and write a cheat sheet

  2. Make Flashcards of the Coping Strategies

  3. Pick some of the new techniques and try them

Activity

Describe activity that will reinforce the lesson
