The Goonies

A bunch of kids off on an adventure to find gold with one eyed willy. They go on a quest to find this hidden treasure that no one had else before gotten to. Its a long adventure that requires resilience to keep going in the movie. The goon dogs are a great bunch of children who all are unique in their own way. They are on a mission to save their home from getting foreclosed on. They are all searching for this treasure that takes them on a lengthy adventure through the tunnels and caves of the search for treasure. They use a map and eventually they get to a point in the movie where they have to play the bones to get out. After that they find the treasure and load up on riches. The bad guys catch them and they make them spit out all the riches. But Mikey has a bag of marbles that he traded for jewels. They breakthrough the caves and then are on dry land.

The courage that they have in this movie is exceptional they are very brave and adventuress children. This movie is about that quest for something greater that will save them their home so the goon dogs can still have their weekends with missions and quests. They make their way out of the cave and water and end up on the beach where they all are running and meet up with their parents. As they are meeting up the police are asking them what happened. They tell them about the bad guys and the police isolate the bad guys and then they almost shot sloth but, he was saved by the goonies. He is going to go live with chunk now. Roselia says, "No pen" "No Pen" and so Mr. Walsh doesn't sign the foreclosure they have the gems from Mikey's bag of precious jewel's so they don't have to give up their home.

I have a lot of respect for the good dogs they are a heck of a bunch of people who really deserve a lot of credit to go through all of that to find the gem stones. Its about an hour long adventure to finding the gold and rubies and diamonds. Mikey as Sean Austin is one of the lead parts and he does a exceptional job in the movie he is the narrator through the movie. The movie has some undertones of socioeconomic clashes one of the guys on the football team trys to kill Brand on his bike as he is looking for the goonies when they left their house. Brand catches up with them later and andi and her friend I forget her name she has glasses though. Mouth tells Rosalina a bunch of lies and she feels like she is in a crazy house.

This is a an hour and fifty minuets of adventure that will leave you laughing, crying, and hoping in something greater that exists. Each of us are on a quest for the treasure in our lives we each have something burning in us to find. We might take our who lives to get to the treasure but the hunt is worth it. I would recommend this movie to anyone who has children who like adventure movies. This movie is a little scary at times but, we pull through those scenes. There is a giant man with disfigured face and is an official hero for them he opens the cave to the other side of the tunnel to get out of the cave. He becomes a hero in the movie that gets him away from his mother who was abusing him and chained him up in the basement and that wasn't nice. Chunk gets him out of the basement and there are three sets of people now on the quest for the hidden treasure. I thought the bad guys the Fratelli's should of been put in jail at the end of the movie.

I would recommend this movie as one with the quest to find something better and hope that you don't have to loose faith when you find precious jems. I wonder what a sequel would of been to this movie. It would of been neat if they could of had a second movie to the original movie. I would have liked to have scene a second movie to find out what the goon dogs do once they have kept their house. I would love to see a second movie and see what new adventure they could of went on. Data is part of the movie that keeps it entertaining with being able to fend off the bad guys with his technology to punch and use slick shoes. The Secret Cave adventure hidden clues that fortune exists through the treacherous journey take the time to find the missing link was Sloth who saves the goonies from dying at the end of the movie.
