When I look back at my life and I look at it objectively there are so many things that I would change and go back to redo but, I can only go forward from the point of the present.

This is why so many have said, "JOY, you are one of the most resilient people I have ever met" and that is because I have failed so many times over a job or career because it was taken from me for missing work and being absent with my cancer battle.

For, I now am in my 40s and a Mother to the Original Copy Officer Captain Family; and so happy too be just that, a Mother, Teacher, Encourager, Motivator, Wife, and Best Friend to them I couldn't think of being anyone else.

I have overcome my ability to be in fear to let life evolve and be active in the decisions I make going forward. I have a education plan picked out and I'll do that when they get older. I'll become a military psychologist.
