I just got done with a appointment with my Psychologist and, R.C., she did it again I had another break through. She is able to help me tie things together that make sense now and works really hard at helping me find peace. A interactive approach to therapy is really great and I love her questions and, our discovery's. Just because a person has a therapist or psychologist don't mean that they are crazy. It just means that they have been through some trauma or have conditions that plague them enough to talk about and work through.
Did you know that trauma doesn't have a real definition to it; but I would say mine is like a kaleidoscope of different instances with car accidents (19), Near death Accidents (3) Broken Bones (2) Survival of a murder (4x) same guy, moved 16 times, went through 100 jobs in 16 years.
I have been able to process all of that today and she is filling in the gaps of why and what happened. I never really talk about my personal life and, I just feel this last 90 days in Crisis Treatment has been the best thing I have ever done in 10 years. I wish I would of discovered this place a long time ago. Its the people that are here, the teachers, the therapists, that are just incredible.
I am looking to the future with hope and excitement to keep going, keep doing, and keep learning ways to combat this diagnosis. She said, we can change it at anytime so I am hopeful to get rid of my Depression. It boils down from my Original Copy Officer Captain family not being able to be with them. I am excited for the future with them and, just pray every single day, that I would be closer to being with them.
Its been a long road but, its a road that I will make happen to victory again soon enough Victory will be mine!! "Never, Never, Never, Give up" - FDR
