Self Motivation

Thomas Jefferson Says,

"The man who would choose security over freedom deserves neither."

So perhaps a connection between the dots is we make ourselves into what we become; you are what you become. I would love to say this quote has perplexed me a bit but, I think I summed it up and this quote ties it together. Its what we create in the doing of something that it becomes alive and a tangible dream, vision, or memory. This quote goes out to Original Copy Officer Captain Justin Mayfield. You taught me freedom the day you and Schwartz talked me out of the mental hospital for that is a place of security and you both were advocating for my freedom.

This reminds me of politics but, I don't like to discus that. I don't have much to say on this one other than some people want to take it with them to heaven but, the truth in the matter is you cannot. You cannot bank on money that you don't have for we all have to earn our way in the world to contribute to something greater than ourselves through taxes. I would think that one would want freedom over security because then you could have both.
