Today is about learning so much information I was reading in my DBT Book all the different ways DBT can help people with so many mental health conditions. Its a simple book to read in one sitting that you could read it in a day. It describes the building blocks of DBT on a mainstream level. After reading this book almost to its entirety it makes me want to find another book. I am learning how to read again being dyslexic it is hard to read sometimes the words get all jumbled on the page and look like one big sentence. Do you ever read aloud to yourself? I have figured out that when I read to the sophisticates I do better by reading aloud that I can read a significant number of pages and do well. They learn and I learn and we win together. We can never learn enough, I always say, I can find more books I want to read than cloths in my closet. Why is that? I don't know but, I have a thirst for knowledge and so do they. So every single day I read to them for at least one hour of time or more depending on the day. We can never know enough out there we can go to a library and osmoses' so many books into our brains I wish it were true to be able to download books into our brain. Perhaps in the future with Artificial Intelligence we will be able to do such a thing it would be incredible and I would pay for it. Why not a new way to go to college down load the text book to your brain or hard drive and then learn and get straight A's. What a concept that would be. Novel ideas happen over night in seconds of talking an idea is borne.

We are going to pick out some books and read them together and each day we will be better people for it. The next book which is a workbook we will be reading is:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in 7 Weeks by Seth J. Gillihan, PhD.
We are going to read about resilience and about ADHD and growing up with it and parenting.
This is a great idea to read to your sophisticates out loud daily its a great way for them to put audio into notes and learn a different way. Its a win win strategy to help them with memory and learning and building knowledge skills.
