Did you ever know your my hero? You have heard the song before that is so beautifully put together by Bette Meddler wind beneath my wings. It took me some time to catch on to that song and the meaning to it all. It blends in with "THE ROSE" quite well they work together well. We all need someone to carry us in times of struggle and chaos and that song sums it up by being the wind beneath my wings. Having that extra push to go after life to have a lighter heart and to be free as a bird flying. A song of true thanks and appreciation to the one who lifts them up. The rose is a beautiful song about life and the seasons of life that we have are all important.

Who are your heroes of today? Are they family, best friends, or co-workers whomever they are make sure you send your appreciation to them and let them know what they do for you in your life. We can never have enough people be our prayer warriors! Make time to take them out to dinner, or buy them flowers something special for their heroic acts that they do for your life.

I want to acknowledge the Hennepin County Police Officers they are my hero's in blue in the line of duty. I have been in treatment for a month now and their recommendation of this ANW Day Treatment has been great for me to experience. My nurse today said, I looked like a different woman when we were done. I am so thankful for police officers in my life they have; Kept me alive, been merciful, and at times acted like fathers when I was at my worst. It has been a year since I attempted a suscidal move and I am thankful to the Bloomington police that day Officer Captain Schwartz and Officer Captain Spencer; they drilled into my head the meaning of well-being and mine was clearly not accurate at all. I spent two months in the Edina Fairview Psych Hospital to heal from that almost attempt of it. I have so much respect, love, and admiration toward police officers. They are the silent hero's who drive by making sure our streets are clean, safe, and livable. At other times it was the Minnetonka Police who saved me from a 68H hostage, the Eden Prairie police that saved me from a 42H Hostage and, St. Paul and Apple Valley to do a check in. The Bloomington, Minnesota police were with me on that January night. This is the first year that I forgot about the homicide. That tells me that I am healing and therapy has to be a by product of it. I hope to once I get one of my checks I am going to send coffee and hot coco and biscoff cookies to those other departments.

On days when I was dying of cancer laying in bed they would be the ones who would wake me up in the morning through my intelligence to get out of bed. They tucked me in at night with drive bys to case the apartment and make sure there we not strange vehicles there. I am forever thankful to their sense of urgency and protection that they give. I can never say it enough to the departments Thank YOU!!!! For making my life better because of your presence in mine. Take time today to thank your fellow police department with flowers with goodies with whatever you can think of they have earned every cup of coffee and hot coco. I love them like family and I will always continue to keep them in my prayers I need to remember to speak their departments out loud like I used to.

True Men in Blue; heroes of today!

To all of those dressed in blue

Working hard like I know you do

Protecting us from crime

Your like a fallen angel to be my sign

When tears pile up

and you need one more cup

of coffee to keep going

to land the 757 Boeing

You are there to wipe away the tears

caused by night terror fears

You are strong and sound

a treasure that I found

Out of the ashes you came into my life after it burn down

wondering how in the heck I'm gonna be able to hit ground

running after that day scared in the night

you were there as powerful as the evening flight

You came in the early hours of the morning

you hustled to my apartment without warning

You healed me fear

and I kept in the all clear

I went to therapy off and on

trying to make sense of all

the chaos of that night

with my teddy bear heald tight

You never got thanked until today

because I had forgotten it went away

the memory of the homicide faded into blue

I am so glad I met you.

ree

Thank You for all you do, supporting the thin blue line, my appreciation and gratitude to all Minnesota Police Officers. Couldn't of made it 40 year without your help!!!
