When we sing the songs of America the Beautiful, The Star Spangled Banner, Curtsy of the Red, White, and Blue, Country Roads by John Denver; what comes to mind?
What do you think of when you hear songs of America; I hear freedom, peace, hope, grace, motivation to do my role as a citizen to give back to this country to serve of my time to help my fellow man; whatever that may look like. That might mean helping out in a food kitchen that might mean singing in a choir, that might mean donating blood in a blood bank. What we know and hold truth to be self evident are our morals, ethics, and integrity that is backed by Freedom.
I think of Eagles flying high in sight sky's of blue from sea to shining sea, running free in a field of flowers singing with shouts of exclamation of the Freedom that we defend till the end in a world of uncertainties we salute all the men and women in the country and around the world who fight in the name of Freedom so we can take a Stand, a Voice, and a Victory in Christ Jesus who sets us free from Sin with the wages over war.
I think about the flag breaking in the wind, the salute to the air force of the jets that fly over every 4th of July, we are really lucky here in America. I just did 90 days in a Crisis Center and Graduated with Honors. It was the best groundbreaking experience in my day a time to minster to so many people and, its made possible because of our Government. I met friends in there of hearts that are so on fire for life that it helped me forgive myself of my lack of organization with my life. That everything has its time, season, and reason to do something and these 90 days were the best thing that is ever happened to me. I am now in a season of growth; to get back to the basics of life and build a new foundation to ground myself for the next 40 years ahead. I am taking 5 years to get my life on track it started to fall from an accident that left me with nothing but, pain, loss, loss, loss, and loss; 2015 July it took five years to fall; (income, job, car, apartment, future) When people ask me how I live my life I tell them; Seconds
My dream career is to be the one the troops active and retired veterans look to when they need help my focus will be specialized with in a Masters of Military Psychology from Adler University in Chicago, IL but, I will take it on-line. Looking to do one year of intense therapy to gain focus and insight to life and the living. Then I can start to look at getting my car back and license back. It wasn't alcohol that made me loose it but, a bogus call to police that cost me over a year without it. Just one more thing to keep me from living life to the fullest. The 90 plus days helped me put my life together and start over to a great 40 years ahead of me.
