1st of every month Gifted Children and Cancer Research Gala Event Sponsored by the NFL and Olive Garden, and JW Marriot, Target, Barns and Nobel, Best Buy, Starbucks, Caribou, and US Bank we have gift cards ready to go we will furnish them after lunch and before dinner. We will have preloaded cards ready to go.


Join us for a two day event Saturday will have an agenda and Friday's Agenda will follow:


Praise and Worship Music Celebration at US Bank Stadium


Dinner to follow before service from: Red Lobster of Bloomington


7pm to 10pm with pastor TBA with a service for Christmas Celebration Service.



Looking to fill it up - 70,000 people we are covid-19 fearless pays for the event and celebration for Christmas 2020



Testing for Covid - 19 Starting today if you want to go to the event. Must present social security card and drivers license upon the event. It must be current and valid to attend.

Call your orders in and we will have them packaged ready for you to pick up with your name and ticket number. All tickets will be put into a hat on Saturday and we will draw names for three winners of prizes. Tickets are $150.00 per person at the door


We will have Bake Sale and Craft Sale Cookie Extravaganza This Saturday at the JW Marriot - Cookie Walk. 30% of Money raised will go to the event, and the rest of the 70% will go toward their education funds that they each have. A time to raise awareness for gifted children in our society.

12:45 - Lunch and Cookie Walk and Pick up Christmas Cookies and Wreaths after dinner.


College Football Party All Afternoon we will have refreshments to provide you with you can go shopping or stay and watch football.


1:00p.m. Pick up cookies and put all tickets into the drawing glass tank.


1:30p.m. Drawing for the tickets; you can have a solo ticket for your seat in the event, and purchase additional chances to win by paying for more tickets.


2:30 PM Raffle Tickets to award scholarships grants from the Edina Home School Gala: We will have 20 students win the following and they will have separate tickets we collect during breakfast into a glass vase. It will be for $150,000.00 - Full Scholarships (Tuition, Books, Board, and Housing and Necessities) $3Million in Prizes for this.

10:40 p.m. Final Greetings, and prayers for a safe and happy holiday season. Candlelight exit with wreaths to be picked up for your homes. You can stay for live music if you would like to but, we understand if you don't want to stay its optional.


Live Music from 10:30 to 2AM provided by G.B. Leighton and George Scot McKelvey to follow events.

For the speech: It will be done by those that are Gifted Children in the VanAnderland-Aikman-VanAndel Family.

Quick Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 packages devil's food cake mix (regular size)

  • 1 cup olive oil extra virgin oil

  • 4 large eggs, room temperature

  • FILLING:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

  • 2-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  • In a large bowl, combine the cake mixes, oil and eggs until well blended. Roll into 1-in. balls. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Do not flatten.

  • Bake at 350° until set, 8-10 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks (cookies will flatten as they cool).

  • In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Beat in sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread or pipe filling on the bottoms of half of the cookies; top with remaining cookies. Store in the refrigerator.

  • 1-1/2 cups butter, softened

  • 1/2 cup shortening

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs, room temperature

  • 1/4 cup thawed orange juice concentrate

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 5 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • FROSTING:

  • 3 cups confectioners' sugar

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

  • 1-1/2 teaspoons thawed orange juice concentrate

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 3 to 4 tablespoons whole milk

  • Optional: Food coloring and sprinkles or colored sugar

  • In a large bowl, cream the butter, shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in orange juice concentrate and vanilla.   • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 5 cups all-purpose flour

  • FROSTING:

  • 3-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar

  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened

  • 1 tablespoon shortening

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 4 to 5 tablespoons 2% milk

  • Food coloring of choice, optional

  • Assorted sprinkles or candies, optional

  • Beat butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour. Divide dough into 4 portions; shape each into a disk. Cover; refrigerate until firm enough to roll, about 30 minutes.

  • 1 tube (16-1/2 ounces) refrigerated sugar cookie dough, softened

  • 1 cup chopped pecans

  • 2/3 cup white baking chips

  • 2/3 cup dried cranberries

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine cookie dough, pecans, chips, cranberries and vanilla. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
