500 Calories A Day Melts off one Pound a Week if not more; takes 90 to 120 minuets of cardio activity to make happen. Runners will burn out their knees and end up having Knee replacements its not worth it. Walk it off, melt, walk, repeater.
I had a dream that I was in a swimming competition and swimming for a
triathlon and, I finished last but, it was the fact that I did it that was all the difference. When your body becomes unfit from lack of exercise it can be like climbing a mountain to get back in shape to fitness.
One thing that they measured for people to get back into shape was taking it slow at five minuets per day and all the way up to 60 minuets. I did this when I was getting back into shape. I haven't been able to exercise that much since being in treatment but, I left my fitness shoes behind.
Walking is low-impact: Easier on the body and it might take longer to loose the weight but, it is a better way in the end. Right now I have tendentious in my right foot and, It really hurts. I am not sure what happened to cause it other than weighing almost 200 pounds.
When you Walk you Burn Fat: its low impact over time helps one melt the fat away
Walkers can stop and smell the roses: You can day dream, dream build, sort through life's stress, plan your tomorrow.
Sweat to the music less dripping: however, I beg to differ as a recovering alcoholic I sweat a lot when I walk fast and, for two hours to Pitbull.
Walkers can wear normal cloths: I still like to wear my own workout clothing because of my sweating because I am in recovery from alcohol.
Walkers can become Champions: its likely that walkers will turn into runners and become champions because they have such a cardio foundation to their workout
Walkers never hit the wall: Burn out for walkers is much lower for this type of working out you keep going, keep going and never look back.
Overall great choice of exercise: People who walk are likely to become long term athletes and will continue to walk many miles ahead.
At my best when I was in the best shape off my life I was 88 pounds lighter and walked/jogged 10 miles in 60 minuets a 6 minuet mile on an elliptical machine. Then, when I started walking on a tred mill I started walking three miles in 2 hours. It was a lot of fun to walk two hours because I would listen to my favorite music and play those tunes to sweat off the fat.
At a certain point you can feel your body loose the weight and its one of the best feelings in the whole world. When you have an athletic endorphin high its as good as feeling limitless to be able to do anything you can think of.
Please pray for me to get back into shape, I want to loose this 88 lbds in a year and a half. Its going to take commitment, time, and energy, and a positive can-do attitudes, and perseverance to keep going. I will commit to this at some point and see that I get back on the treadmill again.
